FRA will host the 11th Annual Private Investment Fund Tax Master Class virtually on May 20-21 instead of in New York City. The two-day event will offer high-quality presentations on both private equity and hedge funds, interactive sessions with live speakers, and education credits.
Industry specialists will share critical updates on timely topics including, but not limited to, the CARES Act tax provisions and issues that impact distressed companies, the new K1 and the significance of specific changes, market-based sourcing and the Wayfair decision, and partnership audit rules.
Each day of the event will commence with a keynote speaker. The first day will feature an IRS Keynote Presentation by Michael Desmond, chief counsel, Internal Revenue Services. Day two will kick-off with Lee Sheppard, contributing editor, Tax Analysts’ Tax Notes, who will share a Keynote Address on current developments.
